Women have been oppressed for a very long time and by this we saw the struggles of women fighting for their rights. Additionally, most of the people are just basing a woman's worth from the amount of happiness that they're giving to men thus objectifying them just for the male gaze. 

To prove that women are more than what people perceive them to be, here are some videos and pictures of women that prove women can indeed UNFOLD into anything.

Marie Curie

Maria Salomea Skłodowska was a pioneering researcher on radioactivity who was of Polish and French descent. She is renowned for discovering radium and polonium as well as for her contributions to the development of treating cancer. She was the first woman to win the Nobel Prize and was the recipient of two prizes throughout her lifetime. She made contributions to the fields of physics, chemistry, and even medicine, and as a result, she is now regarded as the person who revolutionised science.

Gabriela Silang

Gabriela Silang is widely renowned for being the first female revolutionary leader in opposition against Spanish colonial rule. She is regarded as one of the most notable revolutionaries and notable women in Philippine history. For all Filipinos, her life and legacy remain a symbol of valour and patriotism.

Anna Pavlovna Pavlova never let the fact that she did not have the traditional ballerina body type stop her from becoming well-known. After performing Giselle, Pavlova won the affection of famed ballet master and choreographer Marius Petipa, who titled her Prima Ballerina in 1906. The Dying Swan, which Michel Fokine choreographed for her, is the most well known piece that she performed throughout her whole career. She later toured the globe with the Ballet Russes, inspiring countless people to pursue dancing careers, including British choreographer Frederick Ashton.

Miriam Defensor-Santiago, the Iron Lady Of Asia. She was a part of the top 100 most powerful women worldwide in 1997. Miriam was awarded for bold and moral leadership in ending a graft-ridden government agency. A lot of Filipinos regret that they'd never had her as the president of the Philippines.

Maria Leonor "Leni" Gerona Robredo is a Filipino lawyer and politician who served as the 14th vice president of the Philippines from 2016 to 2022. She was also a candidate for presidency last election. Her candidacy gave hope to countless individuals that they can acquire freedom from thoughtless and crappy government. Her candidacy united the youth and formed great communities who help and aid each other. She also founded the Non-Governmental Organization Angat Buhay where the volunteers aid those who need it.
